| | | | | | Selling Foreclosures Quickly with EBay, Similar to Trading Your Home? Oct 08, 2009 | | | | At last, the banks are realizing that we need to speed the foreclosure process. Homes that sit in a foreclosure status contribute toward the negativity we have about our housing market. In the past Real Estate Agents were rewarded for finding buyers and sellers and following through with the entire process; with technology, this role got easier, agents got complacent and eventually too greedy to realize the macro issues associated with their roles. We now are at a cross-road (though it is not war, famine or disease that will change our ways - but an economic downturn that will change human behavior). Yes the real estate business model will evolve ... starting with this. The fact that the banks will start using EBay as a medium to off load Foreclosures to the general public, is finally a start. We have been harping this sort of change for sometime! Utilizing MyHouse4Trade.com is another example. Letting Homeowners post their homes and allowing them to find buyers and sellers through one medium is a simple idea. Though there is more to it, but once both parties are interested, implementing the actions to trade a home are quite easy. First find a Real Estate Lawyer, not to mention, you still have the choice of working with a real estate agent, just make sure they know that you want a discount from their usual commission fee based on the fact you found your buyer/seller. But the best option, is knowing that you will not be bogged down by financial lending rules that are being enforced today. | | | Views: 3 Rating: 0 (based on 0 votes) | |
